Our grace journey began more than 20 years ago when a move to Mississippi for graduate school led us to a little church called New Covenant. There, we found something special — a community full of joy, hospitality, and instant friendship. God took us 850 miles from home to show us He had more in store, one step of grace at a time.

Since marrying in 1999, we’ve lived in Mississippi, Tennessee, and now Florida. Along the way, we were blessed with four wonderful children (and two chihuahuas who keep life interesting!). Before ministry, we both worked in education and later stepped into homeschooling. Over the years, we served in many roles in the local church — Mark in hospitality and leadership, Angela in worship and children’s ministry. Eventually, we were ordained, stepping into a new chapter of ministry life.

As we continued to follow the Lord’s leading, we knew He was calling us to connect others to the message of grace. What began as simple gatherings in a living room soon grew into something more — and Braving Grace was born. Today, we’ve grown into a family of believers walking together in the fullness of God’s grace.
